Thank you very much for the Ted Dekker book you gave me. I have finished it over the weekend and enjoyed it a lot.
Though what they say on the back cover is true. This story is not for every one. Ted Dekker fans will enjoy the book, but I won't recommend it to first time Dekker readers. The style and pace of the book is also different from his other books, but not in a bad way.
The theme of the book is all about love and how love and the blood of Christ can save anyone, no matter how lost they are. And how it is our duty to find the lost and introduce them to the One who saves.
The book is about Vampires, although he never once calls them by that name, but rather Nephilim. He also toys with the idea that the Nephilim are the descendants of the sons of God that slept with women, as mentioned in Genesis.
This quote from the book sums it up nicely: "The battle for the heart is always violently opposed."

At Last, A Practical Guide to Parenting!!!!!!!
It is scary how predictable and very much alike different children can be. I received a copy of Andalene’s book – Raising Happy, Healthy Children and I couldn’t keep myself to start reading it straight away. As I was going through the book it felt like this book was written about my two boys. I haven’t finished the book and I already laughed a lot. Andalene did two home visits with us and this book is basically just a refresher course on how to take back the control of your home and a absolute must have for any parent.
I cannot begin to describe the change that has taken place in my life, my home and most importantly in the lives of my boys. They are disciplined without feeling lack in love and they are happy. This book is an inspiration and a ray of hope that I can be the parent I was meant to be and that everything will work out for the best.
I have permission to parent my children and I have been Empowered.

My lewe as 'n enkelma - Angela Thomas
Die boek is ongelooflik. Ek sal dit vir enige enkelma aanbeveel. Soms, terwyl ek gelees het, het dit gevoel of dit my eie lewe is waarvan ek lees.
Die boek is baie goed uiteengesit en die praktiese wenke is regtig uitstekend.
Ek het my man in November 2007 aan die dood afgestaan. Ek was 36 met twee dogtertjies toe 9 en 7 onderskeidelik.
Ek dink ook dat dit goed is dat ek die boek nou, twee jaar later lees, dit gee beter perspektief.

Daily Planner for women 2010
I would like to comment on the Daily Planner for women 2009. I received this book as a farewell gift from my collegues.
This book has been an absolute blessing in my life. I thank Jesus for this precious gift I recieved and I pray that Jesus blesses all my collegues at Standard Bank in Meyerton. I used this book as part of my daily devotion. Together with the

Getting this book in my hands came at exactly the right time in my life! It came just after my faith has been restored and I being rejuvenated and reconnected with God. Ek het my so ingeleef in die storie en een gevoel met die families dat ek my hart behoorlik uitgehuil het oor al die hartseer gebeure. Ek dink tog dit gee mens 'n kykie op wat gebeur en watse voor en nadele so 'n oorlog het op almal se lewens.

Op hierdie stil Sondagoggend en nog half in die donker (want dis winter hier in Engeland) neem ek die boekie uit my kombuislaai wat my dogter in Suid-Afrika vir my gestuur het. Terwyl ek my koppie tee drink en luister na kersliedere oor die radio lees ek weer daardeur en bars summier in trane uit.
Ek wonder hoeveel Suid-Afrikaanse ma's sit in dieselfde bootjie.

Goeie middag!!!
My naam is Riana en ek werk by Kampherbeek, Twine & Pogrund Prokureurs in Pietersburg as 'n derdeparty eis sekretaresse. My baas het my en my kollega op sekretaresse dag met die nuwe 2009 dagbeplanner bederf. Die pienk en pers leer voorkoms lyk te pratig en ek kon nie wag om te sien wat wag aan die binnekant nie. Ek het sommer enige verskoning gesoek om al in die boekie te begin skryf so het toe maar met verjaarsdae begin.
Ek hou baie van die Bybel versies wat by elke dag geskryf is en die gedagte vir die dag maak van die boekie 'n treffer. Dit gaan partykeer bietjie dol op kantoor en daarom kom 'n Bybel versie of 'n gedagte wat jou bietjie laat dink handig te pas om mens weer kalm te kry.
Die boekie lê trost op my lesenaar en ek kry by al my mede kollegas komplimente, almal dink dis 'n baie oulike dagboek.
Ek sien baie uit om volgende jaar saam my Joyce Meyer dagbeplanner 2009 'n pad te stap en wil dankie sê vir die oulike uiteensetting. Die boekie is beslis op my kersfeeslysie vir al my vriendinne. Kan nie wag vir 2010 se weergawe nie.....

I just finished reading the book “Best Friends” and it brought tears to my eyes (to think that I am currently at work whilst I was doing so); it touched me and pulled some familiar heart strings. My biggest thanks to you guys for publishing such a great and inspiring compilation.
This book was lent to me by my new colleague who just joined our team; her name is Asanda Mkefe from East London, South Africa. We became instant friends and I find her very wise, funny and mature. I am just getting over a rough patch in my life, I guess 2009 did not started right for me and I am slowly getting back on my feet.
I can so relate to the quote in your book which goes “Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Others stay awhile, make footprints on our hearts and we are never, ever the same.”
I am so thankful for meeting my new found friend, Asanda; she is like a jewel that I have stumbled upon when the road that I am taking became rocky. I love meeting new friends and she is indeed one of a kind. She constantly checks on me and came into the office today to lend me this book; it gave a very warm glow to the flickering inner fire.

Good morning,
I bought this book as a Christmas present for myself and i don't regret it. I want to tell you that since i read the book last year, and i'm about to finish it.
The one verse that made me stand up and wake up was from Phillipians 3:13 (Brothers, i do not consider myself to have taken hold of it. But one thing i do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead....)
This year 2009, i've seen God working on my favor. He made ways where there seems to be no way. The book really made me see that in God everything is possible. You cud also see my e-mail signature at the bottom. that's what i live by. No matter the circumstances, God can suddenly change situations.

Dagbeplanner vir die vrou 2009
Wonderlik !!! Daar is net nie woorde vir hierdie puik dagbeplanner nie. Toe ek dit eers oopmaak kon ek dit nie weer neersit nie en wou net lees en lees en blaai en blaai. Ek kan nie wag om huis toe te gaan en rustig daardeur te blaai en alles in te vul en dit "amptelik" begin te gebruik nie.
Ek kon nog nooit 'n dagbeplanner byhou nie, maar hierdie een gaan ek defnitief byhou !!!

Ek het die beste boek in my lewe gelees. Karen Kingsbury se boek "Vir 'n duisend jaar" het my aangegryp en so baie dinge in my lewe na vore gebring. My passie is perde en ek het my hart vir die Here gegee in Februarie 2008 na 'n ernstige val met my perd. Die Here het wonders gedoen daarna. Ek het begin met "Ruiters vir Jesus" waar ek probeer om meer kinders met die evangelie te bereik by perdeskoue, terwyl hulle besig is met hulle passie.
Ek sal graag wil weet waar ek van hierdie boeke in groot maat kan kry, want ek is oortuig dat elke ruiter met 'n passie vir perde hierdie boek moet lees en ek glo dat Jesus 'n boodskap vir elkeen sal he.
Dit is 'n puik boek.
